Registering For SPEED-e

Who can register for SPEED-e
 

  1. Depository Account holders (both clients and brokers) whose Depository Participant (DP) has subscribed to SPEED-e

A) Clients:
 

Password Users:

Clients seeking registration as Password users can submit delivery instructions only in favour of three Clearing Member Pool Accounts who will be required to give a consent letter in the prescribed format.

To REGISTER for a password based access to SPEED-e:
  • Fill-up an online registration form
  • Choose your own 'User Id' (between 3 and 8 characters) and 'Password'. (between 8 and 16 characters),both alphanumeric.
  • Submit in person the duly filled-in registration form alongwith a copy of the latest Transaction Statement.
  • Your DP will authorise your request and thereafter with the User-Id and Password you can operate your SPEED-e account.
  • In case of joint holders, a Power of Attorney favouring any one individual should be given.

Smart Card Users :

Clients seeking registration as Smart Card users can submit both market and off-market instructions as well as freeze / unfreeze their account(s) / ISIN(s) and / or specific quantity of securities under an ISIN.

To REGISTER for a Smart Card based access to SPEED-e:
  • Download the SPEED-e Application Form, Power of Attorney for Smart Card Users from SPEED-e website or obtain it directly from your DP.
  • Fill-in all particulars and submit the duly filled-in form with the requisite documents to your DP.
  • DP will assign a User-Id and help you procure a Smart Card Kit, Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) and Personal Identification Number (PIN).
  • Install the Smart Card Kit on to the computer and with the User-Id, DSC and PIN, you can start using SPEED-e.

B) Brokers:
 

Brokers seeking registration for accessing SPEED-e should register themselves as Smart Card users.

To REGISTER for a Smart Card based access to SPEED-e:
  • Download the SPEED-e Application Form, e-Token Details Forms and Director Details Form for Smart Card Users (for brokers /corporates) from SPEED-e website or obtain it directly from your DP.
  • Fill-in all particulars and submit the duly filled-in form with the requisite documents to your DP.
  • DP will assign a User-Id and help you procure a Smart Card Kit, Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) and Personal Identification Number (PIN).
  • Install the Smart Card Kit on to the computer and with the User-Id, DSC and PIN, you can start using SPEED-e.
